UPSC recruitment 2016 notification 112 medical officer posts : Union Public service commission (UPSC) invites application for the position of 112 Specialist, Civilian, medical officer and various vacancies.

Pay Scale:- Rs.15600 – 39100/- Per Month

Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor:- 24 posts

• Qualification:- Candidate hould have recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the first schedule or the second schedule or part II of the third schedule (Other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian medical council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), Holders of education qualification in Sub – section (3) of section 13 of the Indian medical council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) / post – graduation degree in the concerned specialty or super – specially i.e. Magister Chirurgic (Surgical Oncology) or master of surgery or master of Surgery (Ear / Nose / Throat) or master of Surgery )Orthopedics’) or Doctor of medicine (Obstetrics and Gynecology) with two year special training in Surgical Oncology.

         Age Limit:- The age of the candidate should be 40 years.

        Pay Scale:- Rs 15600 – 39100/- Per Month

      Civilian Medical Officer:- 49 posts

• Qualification:- Candidate should have recognized medical qualification included in the first schedule or part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian medical council Act, 1956. Holders of the educational qualification included in art II of the third schedule should fulfill the condition stipulated in sub – section (3) of section 13 of the Indian medical council act, 1956.

      Age Limit:- The age of the candidate should be 35 years.

      Pay Scale:- Rs 15600 – 39100/- Per Month

Selection Procedure:- The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

Age Relaxation:- The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
ii) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
iii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
